The patented Compac carrier design is unique in that it singulates produce, rotates for optical or NIR inspection, allows precision weighing and then delivers the produce to the left or the right, all in one simple unit consisting of only 4 components. There are no transfers required in the process and the carriers are designed to be easily removed for maintenance.

Combined with Compac's metering elevator and/or singulation loading belts, Compac carriers provide superior performance with exceptional throughputs from high carrier fill and fast operation with gentle handling.

Compac carriers utilize a low maintenance rotation system to allow complete control over rotation speed; forward, reverse or stationary. With this great tool, the operator can optimize singulation of all shapes and sizes of fruit

Once singulated the produce is rotated under optical inspection systems at the optimum speed to accurately measure color, dimension, shape, and external blemishes or defects. The carriers provide high rotation percentages of round, oblong or non-symetrical shaped fruit to provide the best possible performance from the InVision sorting systems.

Rotation can also be provided for additional technology such as NIR (Near Infra-Red) or other new technologies.

The Compac carrier provides precise weighing by lowering from a rotating position to become a free floating weighing platform. This platform provides 4 weighing points combined with 2 load cells to allow for all variances in fruit shape and position on the carriers.

Dual side tipping is a unique feature of the Compac system that should not be over-looked. The Compac carrier can deliver the fruit to either the left or the right. This may sound simple enough, but it has some impressive benefits. It offers gentler handling on larger machines by distributing the fruit to the outlet with minimum collision, possibly making Compac one of the gentlest systems on the market. Dual side tipping can also allow Compac Single Lane Sizers to be shorter by allowing packing off both sides of the machine and maximizing shed floor space.
